ABOUT US
Hi, I'm Murray Leyland and I started Thornton Physiotherapy for two reasons -
-
To bring the highest quality rehab from the elite sporting world to the amateur athletes of my local community
-
To create a workplace where I could help mentor young, passionate physios to become their best. And if desired help springboard them into working the sporting physio world if desired.
WHAT WE DO
At Thornton Physiotherapy we pride ourselves on the quality of our assessments, diagnostic interpretation and rehab planning.
We use a Vald dynamotor to perform accurate assessments. We combine this with Telehab a world class exercise software to deliver customised and tailored rehab programs to patients.
The football field next door to the clinic is utilised to do on field rehab / ACL training sessions and running rehab.
Patient education is at the core of our approach.
THE TEAM
What can we say? I think they are all amazing - but I am biased. We all have a sweet tooth so always welcome a bit of home baking.
THE CULTURE
We have a supportive, progressive, relaxed culture. We focus on encouragement, developing strong clinical skills. Importantly in our patients we have instilled a culture around importance of exercise, continuing rehab and self efficacy. This is no EPA farm!
